About
Our Story
Equity & Impact exists because surface-level change isn't enough.
We work with organizations and businesses ready to move beyond performative inclusion and build systems that are accessible, intersectional, and rooted in justice.
Our work centers what's often ignored-Deaf culture, disability justice, LGBTQ+ equity, and the lived experiences of those pushed to the margins.
We don't offer one-size-fits-all solutions. We partner with you to create change that's honest, grounded, and built to last. Because equity isn't optional. It's the foundation for everything that follows.
Our Team

CEO/Founder
Equity & Impact was founded and is led by it's CEO, Elijah Valdez who is a leader known for showing up with heart, clarity, and a deep commitment to doing what is right even when it is hard.
With degrees in Psychology and Social Justice & Human Rights, he brings a rare blend of lived experience, formal education, and real-world strategy to every space he enters.
He has spent years helping teams and communities navigate complex issues around equity, access, and belonging and he does it with compassion, honesty, and a no-fluff approach that people trust.
Outside of the work, he is a family guy through and through. Grounded by love and community, he believes the values that shape us at home should lead us in everything we do.
People don't just work with Equity & Impact because of what we do-they come back because of how we do it with integrity, care, and the kind of leadership that feels deeply human.
